The Gateway is a specialty role playing search engine, listing all role playing web sites that contain original content. In addition to manual entries, the Gateway receives several daily feeds from link websites. We currently have the largest collection of functional RPG links on the Internet.

INCLUSION

All sites with original pen and paper RPG content will be included. This includes mirrored or archived content. The following sites will not be included; sites which contain:

* vulgar or adult content
* mirrored or copied content
* all computer/console content with no RPG emphasis
* casinos (duh!)

WHY THE NUMBERS DON'T ADD UP

Any site submitted manually will be reviewed as soon as possible and included in the index where appropriate. Note that the process of inserting new sites means there will usually be more sites available to a keyword search than to browsing. That is why the numbers on the home page don't necessarily add up.

AGE / EXPIRATION DATES

All sites are guaranteed to be up as of the past month. Effie's Phase Spider runs periodically to ensure that all URLs are still valid. If the site bombs out, it comes off the list.

In addition, this site relies on visitor feedback to determine when a site's content has changed and it no longer belongs in the index. If you run across a site that has moved or changed drastically, click the "Report Problem" link next to the URL. Effie will look into it within 24 hrs.
